How to set up LIVE subtitles/captioning in your PowerPoint presentations

1. At the top of your presentation choose “Slide show” and then underneath you will see “Always use subtitles”.
2. If you can’t see it you can use a search box – type in subtitles
3. Make sure that in “Spoken language” you’ve set it to English.
4. Then choose “subtitle language” from the list.

You must ensure you have a microphone for PowerPoint to hear what you are saying whilst presenting! 

Therefore make sure you’ve set up the “Audio settings“ at the bottom of the same box above.
